  1. Excellent Product

Posted by Gerry on 29th Jan 2015

I have been receiving On The Water magazine for several years. I find it very interesting and informative.

  2. Useful information provided (New England edition)

Posted by Dave Gregeorski / Coventry, CT on 26th Jan 2015

I've fished both fresh and saltwater for over 55 years. Still got some good tips especially for saltwater/party boat fishing, which I now do more of. Not sure why I give only 4 stars - just a 'feel' thing.

  3. If your a fisherman or fisherwoman you need this magazine.

Posted by Capt. John Domings on 19th Jan 2015

Have been getting this magazine for so long I can't remember that far backup . Great articles, reviews, and up to date info on what is happening in the Northeast fishing world. I dare you to buy a copy at the news stand and you'll never go without it again! You will read it from cover to cover!

  4. I have yet to receive

  6. Has fishing improved? YES

Posted by Lon hargreaves on 7th Nov 2014

Whether I subscribed or not; I always read on the water for the past ten years! Although I have yet to catch the elusive striper of my dreams. I have caught larger fish than I use to by compiling and putting to use the advice given in your great magazine! The numbers of fish I have caught over the past ten years are dramatically larger than before I started reading on the water. Change of luck? " I think not" change of mental knowledge and insight brought on through reading a good publication; with a purpose to help fellow anglers enjoy their passion for fishing! For this I thank your entire dedicated staff.

  7. My Favorite Magazine

Posted by Unknown on 6th Nov 2014

On the water is my favorite fishing magazine for several reasons:
It focuses on local waters, both fresh and salt, and is very specific about locations.

I fish in numerous locations from Maine lakes to Cape Cod to Upstate New York as well as my own local waters in Southern Vermont. The information that I get from your articles continues to be helpful to me.

I appreciate the fact that you include an online subscription as part of your package. In particular the weekly report has been invaluable to me.

I do wish that you had more weekly information about Vermont and New Hampshire fishing.

One last thing - Please don't ever change your magazine format. It is larger than other magazines and easier to read. To many magazines have become physically smaller over the years.

  8. Excellent Read

This is an excellent magazine with useful articles and product guides including everything from new boats to clothing. Covers it all.

  9. A Magazine For Fishermen by Fishermen

Posted by Mike Egan on 31st Oct 2014

This is not some slicked up magazine that had its start on Madison Avenue. It is the magazine you pickup or subscribe to when you are a fisherman on the east coast of these United States. It covers everything from salt to freshwater. Boat/kayak, surf or the fly take your pick. The stories from seasoned pros like Doc Muller are an indispensable source of information for the novice as well as the accomplished fisherman. The inside information from the different regions points you in the right direction. They don't jam equipment down your throat but they do give the up and comers a shout out that they may never receive anywhere else. The staff tries relentlessly to keep everyone up to date on what is going on within the federal, and state governing bodies. Their stories are sometimes hysterical and make you smile while reading it on a lazy summer afternoon. I first subscribed to the magazine at The Saltwater Expo in Somerset, NJ a few years ago, it is the first magazine I renew every year without reservation!!!!

  10. IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!

Posted by Ken B on 30th Oct 2014

It's the highlight of the month when my issue of On The Water appears in my mail box. The articles are always spot on, whether it be forecasts, new gear, tried and true methods of fishing for difererent species. I particularly like the tide charts. It makes it very easy for me to map out my fishing days using the tides and my time off as well as Moon phases.
